Beloved, welcome. Thank GOD for HIS grace, mercies, and faithfulness. I’m glad that you are here on this page. If it’s your first time here, you are most welcome. It is not a mistake that you are here.

Beloved, this month is the month of double grace, and the LORD has been so gracious and infinitely merciful in bringing us to the tenth month, Alleluia.

Talking about the tenth month, the month of double grace, we may want to do an appraisal of our achievements vis-a-vis our set goals at the beginning of the year. Having done the appraisal, we may find that we have achieved a lot of our set goals, to the glory of GOD, while some may still be hanging. We may have been waiting for some time to achieve a certain goal that is still hanging and can be at the edge of losing hope. But please, don’t lose hope GOD can bring it to pass without any stress.

Remember Peter, who was a fisherman, toiled all night and caught nothing. He was already washing his net when JESUS stepped in and there was a divine turnaround beyond his wildest imagination. More than the large catch of fish he could not even have dreamed of, GOD turned his entire life around, from fishing fish to fishing men (Luke‬ ‭5:5-11). ‬

‭‭‘And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.’ Luke‬ ‭5:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬‬‬

‘When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

…And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.’ Luke‬ ‭5:8, 10b, 11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This brings us to our topic ‘Waiting on GOD’s Timing.’

In Psalm 102:13, the Psalmist says, ‘You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favour her, Yes the set time, has come.’

There is a set time for each one of us to be favoured and no one, no personality can change the set time GOD has ordained. GOD has the blueprint of our lives. What GOD has said concerning us must surely come to pass no matter how tough or seemingly hopeless the situation may be.

Ecclesiastes 3:11a reveals that ‘HE makes all things beautiful in HIS time.’

Waiting on GOD’s timing humanly speaking requires some efforts on our own side which among other things include:
*Patience
*Faith /Total trust in GOD
*Communication with GOD (Prayers)
*Praise/ Worship GOD
*Focusing on GOD ALONE not wavering
*Strong commitment to do GOD’s Will
*Consistency
*Reading and meditating on GOD’s Word (The Bread of Life) to strengthen us in the waiting.
*Being thankful always

Let’s look at the case of Melody (not her real name) a pleasant lady of marriageable age who had been chief bridesmaid to most of her friends. Time went on and eventually, all close associates got married and she started being referred to as an old maid. However, she prayed about the matter and GOD gave her a word to hold on to. She kept on believing GOD concerning HIS promise on marriage and other promises that they would surely come to pass. She was steadfast in the LORD and held on tenaciously to HIS Word, believing GOD and ignoring the mockers.

One day, she attended a global Christian outreach and met this Christian brother who had attended the same fellowship with her many years ago while they were in the university. The brother was now a pastor in another part of the country. After the usual felicitations, they would see each other at the conference and gist. They talked about the usual things- themselves, what they were doing and all of that. Along the line, the brother who had been widowed for some years proposed to Melody. Melody took the proposal to the LORD and got a confirmation that the pastor is her husband. So, all those years of waiting on the LORD, the LORD had been preparing Melody to be a pastor’s wife in HIS own special way.

So beloved hold on to GOD’s Word concerning your issue – if you have not received a Word from the Almighty GOD directly then look into the Scriptures for HIS promises concerning your issue. Continually speak that word/promise over the issue daily. This is a spiritual vitamin and as you speak, you will be reminded that GOD who is the Word is in charge of that issue. In other words, you shall testify.

GOD knows what to do and HE has never failed. One of HIS names is Faithful and True. Do believe and wait for HIS timing.

Isaiah 50:7 says, ‘For the LORD GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.’

Waiting is a trying period; that is why prophet Isaiah quickly remembered that GOD will help him. Waiting is a period of total dependence on GOD. Setting one’s face like a flint is to have rugged determination, to be immovable and steadfast, to stay in line with the promise of GOD irrespective of whatever may be happening around oneself.

So don’t quit just believe GOD for with GOD nothing, absolutely nothing, shall be impossible.

Beloved, congratulations! Waiting on GOD’s timing is the best recipe. It may take some time to cook but surely, we shall laugh, celebrate, and be celebrated.

No matter the challenges you are going through HE is the Solution. Please surrender your life to HIM. Now is the appointed time to do so to start a relationship with HIM. Now is the time of Salvation. Please do not procrastinate as tomorrow may be too late.
What you need to do:
1. Acknowledge that you are a sinner
2. Ask for forgiveness of your sins
3. Accept JESUS as your LORD and Saviour
4. Fellowship with your new LORD
5. Please attend a Bible believing Church if there is a lockdown in your area, please join a Bible believing Church online. May the Almighty GOD guide and guard you in your journey of life. Surely your life can never be the same. Congratulations.
